Job Summary
Provide friendly, efficient customer service in the deli, slice, weigh, and package deli meats and cheeses to customer specifications, and prepare made-to-order sandwiches, salads, and other deli items. Maintain a clean and organized deli counter, follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, operate deli equipment (slicers, scales, wrapping machines), monitor product quality and inventory, assist with receiving deliveries, and may open/close the deli with cash handling. Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong communication, teamwork, and basic math/reading skills; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food Handlers Certification (required)
