Job Summary
Monitor production standards and quality control measures while interpreting Master Production Schedules, JIT reports, and Kanban containers to determine area requirements. Assist the supervisor with planning, assigning work assignments, and prioritizing staffing based on the current Training Matrix to meet department performance goals. Coordinate with other departments for part supply and ensure efficient line handoffs, promoting a 5S culture and providing daily summaries. Assess line performance drivers and lead by example during Weekly Toolbox Talk meetings.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer familiarity and experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Use of decimals, fractions, scales
- Line experience in multiple areas
- Demonstrated quality background
- Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds, 1 to 30 times an hour
- Must be able to work required overtime
- Must be punctual and timely
