Job Summary
Develop and implement cognitive search solutions leveraging natural language processing and machine learning techniques to drive business outcomes. Build search-based applications and bots by collaborating with cross-functional teams, data engineers, and data scientists to integrate these systems with existing processes. Conduct research to improve search relevance, ranking, and user experience while maintaining data pipelines for indexing and retrieval. Monitor performance continuously to optimize quality and stay current with industry trends in cognitive search and machine learning. This long-term role requires a candidate based in Europe with fluent English, a Bachelor's or Master's degree, and at least two years of experience in cognitive search development.

- Develop and implement cognitive search solutions that leverage natural language processing and machine learning techniques
- Work with cross-functional teams to design and build search-based applications and bots that deliver superior search experiences and drive business outcomes
- Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities to improve search relevance, ranking, and user experience
- Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists and software engineers to understand the data and its relationships to integrate cognitive search solutions with existing systems, bots and processes
- Build, enhance with cognitive skills and maintain data pipelines to support search indexing and retrieval
- Monitor search performance and identify opportunities to optimize search quality and user experience
- Develop and implement best practices for cognitive search development, deployment, and maintenance
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and innovations in cognitive search and machine learning
- Bachelor or Master degree
- Strong proficiency in natural language processing and machine learning techniques
- Experience with search platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript
- Experience with cloud computing platforms
- Solid understanding of semantic search, embeddings and vector databases
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Fluent in English
- Candidates need to be based in Europe
