Job Summary
Cognitive Behavioral Specialist to provide structured behavioral interventions for patients with dementia and cognitive impairments across facilities and home visits; manage a caseload, observe behaviors, implement targeted behavioral protocols, educate caregivers, and collaborate with primary and specialty care teams; requires travel within designated SC/GA service areas, five+ years of relevant experience, dementia certification willingness, and strong interpersonal skills. 8-hour full-time shifts, Monday–Friday; travel between offices, facilities, and homes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Experience in roles such as Activities Director, CNA, MA, RN/LPN, or other direct care professionals in geriatrics or memory care settings.
- If licensed, license must be in good standing.
- Actively enrolled in or willing to enroll in a Dementia certification course.
- Dementia Care certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
