Job Summary
Cognitive Behavioral Specialist provides structured behavioral interventions, educates caregivers, collaborates with interdisciplinary care teams, and supports patients with anxiety, depression, dementia or cognitive impairment in facilities and homes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with dementia or cognitive impairments.
- Experience in roles such as Activities Director, CNA, MA, RN/LPN, or other direct care professionals in geriatrics or memory care settings. If licensed, license must be in good standing.
- Actively enrolled in or willing to enroll in a Dementia certification course.
- Dementia Care certification preferred or willingness to pursue certification.
