Job Summary
Conduct cognitive and behavioral neurology evaluations for patients at risk for dementia, mild cognitive impairment, and established dementia. Deliver patient-centered care within an interprofessional model involving geriatricians, psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to maximize community living and prevent caregiver burnout. Manage clinical trials, outcomes research, and basic/translational research projects while teaching medical students and residents. Lead clinical and programmatic initiatives for the Center for Memory Loss & Brain Health, with senior candidates serving as Co-Director.
Required Qualifications
- completed a Neurology residency
- UCNS accredited Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry fellowship
- interest in outcomes research
- interest in basic & translational research
- interest in clinical trials
- teaching of medical students and neurology, psychiatry and geriatrics residents
- clinical, programmatic and academic leadership experience
