Job Summary
Greet guests professionally, prepare espresso beverages, coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, and serve food items while maintaining quality standards. Operate the Point-of-Sale system to process cash, credit card, and mobile transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service counters, and equipment; restock supplies and follow FIFO procedures for product rotation. Assist with opening and closing procedures while monitoring product quality and reporting equipment concerns. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak periods and promote an inclusive environment. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special campus events as scheduled
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail
- Physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving your whole body, walking, standing, lifting, and carrying supplies weighing 50 pounds or less

- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and dependability
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Previous customer service, restaurant, café, or food service experience
- Barista experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to learn coffee preparation techniques and campus procedures
