Job Summary
The Barista is responsible for maintaining the quality of Bluestone Lane's coffee and beverage program, upholding service standards through drink preparation, customer interactions, and cleanliness. Responsibilities include managing equipment maintenance, educating and training new baristas, fostering team cohesion, ensuring product quality, and minimizing waste. A successful candidate will possess over a year of barista experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years working as a Barista in Specialty coffee or 2+ years in non-specialty coffee in a high volume fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Experience using a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40lbs
