Job Summary

Operate roasting and grinding equipment to meet daily production schedules while monitoring roast profiles and maintaining top-tier quality standards. Follow all QC checks, documentation, and procedures to ensure food safety and communicate equipment issues for quick resolution. Take ownership of station cleanliness, maintenance, and continuous improvement, then taste, evaluate, and refine during cuppings and sensory sessions to keep every roast true to its profile. Participate in development opportunities to grow technical expertise. This 2nd shift role supports Peet's mission of pursuing better coffee for people and the planet, offering training for those new to manufacturing or looking to advance in coffee production.

  • Able to handle/move up to 750-pound bins on casters

Desired Qualifications

  • A strong interest—or prior experience—in the coffee industry (barista, roaster, or similar)
  • Prior experience with Caribou or Peet's Coffee
