Job Summary
Greet guests promptly, take orders accurately, and process payments while preparing coffee, espresso, tea, and light food items according to recipes. Maintain a clean, organized front counter and beverage station by operating espresso machines and grinders safely, restocking supplies, and sanitizing areas. Answer customer questions, offer menu recommendations, and resolve service issues while collaborating with teammates to support smooth operations during busy periods. Complete opening and closing tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing, while adhering to food safety and company standards. Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays required; high school diploma and food handler permit preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Food handler permit or ability to obtain one, if required by local regulations
- Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn drink recipes, equipment use, and service standards
- Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday availability
- Comfortable standing for extended periods
- Lifting light to moderate supplies
- Working in a busy customer-facing environment
