Job Summary
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Take customer orders and provide exceptional service while operating the cash register to handle transactions accurately. Maintain a clean work area and assist with food preparation as needed. Follow all health and safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced environment. Previous retail or food service experience is preferred, along with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques. The Human Bean, founded in Ashland in 1998, has expanded across Southern Oregon with a reputation for quality ingredients and experienced staff. Required Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic math skills for cash handling and register operations
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of coffee and espresso preparation techniques is a plus
