Job Summary
Coffee Bar Attendant at Gorsuch Ski Cafe & Coffee Bar in Snowmass Village, CO. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks and beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences; greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations. Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar; handle cash and electronic payments; adhere to all food safety and health regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service. This role emphasizes customer experience, attentiveness to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail/hospitality environment.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or food and beverage role is preferred but not mandatory
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation and equipment operation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Legal eligibility to work in the location specified
- Barista certification or formal training in coffee preparation (preferred)
- Experience working in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of health and safety standards related to food service
