Job Summary
Provide face-to-face psychiatric services to patients in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities; assess mental status and diagnose DSM-V disorders; develop treatment plans and apply psychopharmacology and non-pharmacological treatments; staff clinical cases with psychiatrists; work in Coeur d'Alene, ID / potential Spokane, WA facilities with flexible full-time or part-time schedules; requires Idaho nursing license and Idaho pharmacy license (DEA), 1 year geriatric psychiatry, and experience in SNFs/acute rehab; EMR/EHR experience (Athena a plus); Spanish language skills a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in Idaho by the Board of Nursing in good standing with a focus in psychiatry
- Licensed by the Idaho Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (DEA)
- 1 year of Geriatric Psychiatry experience
- 1 year providing treatment within Skilled Nursing Facilities and/or Acute Rehab Hospitals
