Job Summary
Coder responsibilities include educating and supporting Providers, Division Directors/Managers, and clinical staff through ongoing coding training to ensure compliance with agency regulations; conduct random chart audits and provide direct feedback to providers; investigate and answer provider coding questions; review data/reports and provide additional feedback; routinely visit Providence Medical Groups clinics and attend clinical meetings; stay current with annual CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS updates.
Required Qualifications
- National Certification from American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or National Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC)
