CodePath Mentor, Claude Corps
$110,000–$124,500 year
RemoteUnited States
Job Summary
Coach roughly ten pods of twenty fellows across eight to twelve host organizations from pre-Basecamp through the final day, calibrating time across the portfolio rather than sinking into one pod. Provide first eyes on every pull request, offering structured written feedback on code, roadmap drafts, architecture proposals, and quarterly business reviews at the cohort's pace. Facilitate weekly one-on-ones with all fellows to document progress, challenges, and successes, and lead Day 30, 90, 180, and 270 milestone reviews while synthesizing fellow-level data for your Delivery Manager. Deliver just-in-time curriculum modules, author lane-specific content when commissioned, and co-lead the Basecamp practical assessment alongside Anthropic instructors. Surface recurring technical patterns to leadership and escalate at-risk work immediately. Work AI-natively using Claude for code review and pattern-spotting.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional software engineering on a real team
- Real coaching or mentorship reps, formal or not
- Ability to read a pull request you didn't write, in a stack you don't use every day, and give feedback that is specific and useful
- Experience shipping production work with AI-assisted development tools
- Comfort as a generalist coach
- Strong written communication
- Comfort with remote, synchronous obligations across US time zones and about two evenings a month for cohort sessions and milestone reviews
Desired Qualifications
- TA, bootcamp coach, fellowship mentor, or instructor experience in a cohort program, even informally
- Experience at a small or scrappy organization where engineering meant translating business context into technical decisions
- Comfort across at least two of: web full-stack, data/AI engineering, ML, infra/devops
