Job Summary
Greet guests hospitably, serve food and beverages efficiently, and describe menu items including chef specials. Suggest wine and other drinks while maintaining standard table set-up procedures and dining room cleanliness. Carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds and navigate extensive stairs while bending, lifting, and stooping. Work up to 40 hours per week during a 90-day Part-Time Probationary period before transitioning to Full-Time status with benefits. Maintain an upbeat attitude, adhere to uniform policies, and hold a current Williamsburg James City County food handler's card and TIPS® certification.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 - 2 years server experience in a full service restaurant
- Excellent public contact skills to include tact, courtesy and patience
- Ability to Meet the standards listed below

- Perform basic mathematical computations
- Memorize the food and beverages offered
- Learn and communicate relevant dining information to guests

- Not have been convicted of a felony, any crime involving moral turpitude, or a drug-related offense within the past five years
