Job Summary
As a Cocktail Server, you will maintain professional appearance standards and provide exceptional service to guests, anticipating their needs and delivering food and beverages promptly. Responsibilities include presenting menus, informing guests of specials, accurately entering orders into the POS system, and maintaining cleanliness of the station. Successful candidates will have at least one year of serving experience in a busy venue, possess strong communication skills, and meet state legal age requirements. The role requires the ability to handle items weighing up to 50 pounds and work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of serving in a fast-paced food and beverage venue, preferably a nightclub or lounge environment.
- Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local or state government agency.
- Strong communication skills
- Must meet state legal age requirements
- Must be courteous, pleasant, and hospitable.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of liquor brands, beer, wine, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages, designated glassware, preparation methods and garnishments preferred.
