Job Summary
Take customer food and drink orders, prepare itemized checks, and sometimes accept payments while escorting guests to tables, setting up, and clearing them. Check patron identification to ensure compliance with alcohol purchase age requirements. Service guests with all food and beverage requests in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Clear, clean, and reset tables as needed, ensuring side stands remain stocked, tidy, and clean. Operate the P.O.S. system and carry out cashiering functions for closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork. Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties according to station rotation assignments. Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Food Handlers certification
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
- Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations
