Job Summary
The Cocktail Hostess plays a vital role in creating an enjoyable guest experience in a high-volume, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include greeting guests warmly, maintaining cleanliness, delivering food and beverages, informing guests of promotions, and handling cash. Candidates should possess basic math skills, the ability to operate a point-of-sale system, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift trays and be aware of serving alcohol responsibly.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Ability to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds
- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the guests
- Energetic and positive attitude
Additional Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older to serve liquor
- Must check IDs of guests that appear to be underage
