Job Summary
Cocinero B position involving preparing ingredients, portioning, chopping, and storing food; cooking per recipes and standards; operating ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; preparing cold foods; ensuring food quality and proper temperatures; maintaining cleanliness and safety; and supporting team with professional communication and adherence to policies. Requires ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and follow safety and quality procedures. Education requirement is a high school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience; no supervisory experience required. Location at Marriott in Heredia, Costa Rica; full-time role with compliance to company safety, confidentiality, and asset protection policies.
