Job Summary
Cobb is hiring a Shipping Clerk at the Siloam Springs Hatchery to handle daily shipping and receiving of eggs, data entry, and inventory management, including coordinating international egg shipments. Essential duties include maintaining egg inventory in the CHS database, reconciling delivery tickets against eggs received, preparing eggs for transport to other hatcheries, completing paperwork, and coordinating with the egg set coordinator for inventory and transportation. The role may involve assisting with egg packs when needed. The position requires biosecurity compliance, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, standing and walking most of the shift, and working in wet, dry, dusty, hot, and cold environments. Work is 1st shift (5AM-1PM) with potential overtime; starting wage is $20.30 per hour plus shift differentials. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, 401(k) and more. Required Qualifications
- Applicants with previous agricultural or production experience will be considered preferred
- Applicant must have at least six consecutive months of work experience with the same employer and no additional gaps in employment greater than six months with the last 36 months
- If applicant was laid-off, providing eldercare or childcare, the six month gap will be increased to 18 months
- Applicants must reside in the United States to be considered for an interview
