Job Summary
Fast-paced, physical egg-handling role in a Cobb egg facility. Responsible for picking up, delivering, and inspecting eggs to determine quality for incubation; cleaning, sanitizing, and storing eggs under controlled conditions; performing duties such as egg inventory, using egg sanitizers, and operating related equipment. Other duties may be assigned. Requires valid driver’s license and ability to work a schedule that includes physical labor, sanitation tasks, and compliance with biosecurity and safety protocols. The role involves working in a production environment with conveyors, temperature/humidity controls, and the need to observe egg condition, labeling, and inventory processes. Required Qualifications
- Must have valid driver’s license
- 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer
- no employment gaps in past 36 months greater than 6 months
- rehire criteria: minimum waiting period of 180 days
- willingness to adhere to biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines
- ability to perform physical duties (lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk for long periods)
- previous agricultural or production experience preferred
