Job Summary
Clean inside and outside of the boat, remove seats, vacuum carpets, and wipe dust using various detergents. Verify correct final parts and graphics installation with a laser level, then wipe excess compound from the hull. Briefly inspect the vessel for damage, install warning stickers, vents, swim boards, and emblems per work order. Pack loose parts into the set location and apply all graphics, final parts, and soft grip. Set the tower down, cover the boat with a shrink cover, and ensure it is ready for shipping. Perform these duties in a tight, restricted space with frequent overtime, requiring safety glasses and basic hand tool knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, speak, and write English
- Basic reading and comprehension skills
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with high frequency of variables
- Safety glasses required at all times
- Work in tight / restricted spaces
- Some airborne particles
- Use of various cleaning agents
- Typical 10 hour work days
- Frequent overtime required
