Job Summary
Coax Splicer role in telecommunications construction performing cable upgrades and splicing tasks both aerial and underground. Responsibilities include testing, activating, and troubleshooting equipment post-installation; ensuring splicing operations meet customer and industry standards; navigating work at varied heights; basic daily maintenance of vehicles; documenting work through daily production reports, maps, and material usage records. Must have a High School Diploma or GED (or relevant experience), a valid driver's license, be able to pass a DOT physical, and have at least 6 months of coax splicing or 1 year in telecom; Pole climber certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Six months of coax splicing experience or one year of experience in the telecommunications industry
- Valid State driver's license (non-provisional) with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card
