Coatings Inspector - NACE LEVEL I, II, OR III

Job Summary
The Coatings Inspector is responsible for daily inspection of work sites and equipment, ensuring compliance with Client's Coating Specifications, documenting and reporting contractor status, and tracking project costs. Candidates must be certified as a NACE Level 1, 2, or 3 Coating Inspector, possess a valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License, and be Safe Gulf Trained. The role requires physical capabilities to lift up to 50 lbs., perform inspections at heights, and work in various conditions, including outdoor environments and confined spaces. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Current NACE Level 1, 2 or 3 Certified Coating Inspector
- Valid TWIC Card
- Current Driver’s License
- Safe Gulf Trained
- Able to read and understand the Client’s Coating Specification
- Daily Inspection of work site and equipment
- Observe, document, and report hourly status of contractor
- Track daily cost of project and clients reporting
- Able to work at heights
- Able to lift +/-50 lbs.
- Able to climb and perform coating inspections at high elevations
- Able to work off of various scaffolding types
Desired Qualifications
- OCAT Technician
- Current METS Water Survival
- Familiar with NACE, SSPC and ASTM Standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, PPT, Excel, etc.)
- Great communication skills

- Respectful of others and outgoing personality
