Job Summary
Check all job packets to ensure correct coating is applied to tools and verify that all coated tools meet customer specification conformance standards. Clean tools using the established V80 cleaning system and manage inventory levels of coating materials. Prepare coating parameters for Micronson micro tools, load the carousel with proper sized tools, and tube and label finished tools for shipping. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coating area while performing light work involving objects up to 40 pounds. This role supports Sandvik's global engineering group, which provides solutions to enhance productivity and sustainability across manufacturing, mining, and infrastructure industries.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong math skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with the supervisor and co-workers
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Lightwork that includes moving objects up to 40 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, stoop, bend, or kneel when required
Desired Qualifications
- Certification from a qualified training institution in the field of tool and cutter grinding
