Job Summary
Coating Furnace Operator on 2nd shift at Walter USA responsible for loading/unloading furnace loads, cleaning and maintaining furnace equipment, breaking down coating loads, microscope inspection of tools for defects, and maintaining supporting systems. Will complete documentation, ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the work area, monitor coating processes via computerized and manual systems, perform manual adjustments on control systems, conduct maintenance and PM, visually inspect materials with a microscope, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards while using SAP for job order data and material tracking. Requires reading technical blueprints including GD&T specifications and ability to work with production documentation and product prints.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand technical blueprints including GD&T specifications
- Experience with microscopes for inspection
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards
- Experience with SAP terminals or similar ERP
- Strong documentation skills
