Job Summary
Coating Operator to set up, operate and monitor automatic or semi-automatic coating equipment in a continuous production operation. Responsibilities include monitoring meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, and pressures to ensure process specifications, reporting malfunctions and making minor repairs, and following established safety and emergency procedures. Role may rotate through various production/equipment operator tasks and involves working under close supervision with clearly defined methods and tasks.
