Job Summary
Coating Operator responsible for operating, monitoring, and adjusting coating equipment to apply coating solutions to vitamin tablets, ensuring compliance with production standards and 97%-101% reconciliation. Must perform quality checks, maintain batch records, read operating procedures in English, and operate related equipment (forklift, MES). Requires high school diploma/GED (or 9 years related experience), forklift certification within 6 months, and at least 3 months manufacturing experience; overtime may be required. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, calibration of controls (volume, atomization, pan speed, temperatures), and good documentation practices are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Requires a high school diploma / GED or 9 years equivalency of related work experience
- Forklift certification within six months of attaining the position
- Requires 3 months of manufacturing experience
- Prior experience as a production machine operator or utility worker is preferred
- A complete working knowledge of the coating operation from the preparation of coating solutions to operating coating equipment is preferred
- English communication skills to maintain routine written logs and records
