Job Summary
Mix and apply urethane coatings to nylon textile while monitoring machine variables to maintain proper conditions. Perform in-line quality control inspection of coated rolls, track defects, and ensure adherence to acceptance criteria and paperwork requirements. Execute routine operations including chemical mix handling, roll flagging, knife and oven cleaning, and waste management. Communicate shift information to the next operator and maintain a safe, clean work environment. Follow supervisor instructions and complete all required forms.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write and speak basic English
- Reliable transportation required
- Pre-employment physical, drug screen & background check required
- Must follow instructions from Supervisor
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs
- Good attendance record
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
- Proven work experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with the use of fork trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Positive and team-work focused attitude. Must work well with others
