Job Summary
Operate the coating line setup and perform raw material testing while documenting results. Communicate production issues to the Extrusion Coating Operator and make time and quantity entries into the computer system. Move raw materials and finished products, conduct preventative maintenance, and ensure housekeeping standards. Provide shift change communication and follow written procedures for quality decisions using defective material flagging. Requires web handling fundamentals, basic computer skills, and the ability to read ruler measurements. Shift work includes the second shift rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Web handling fundamentals
- Beginner level computer skills
- High school math skills
- Must be able to read standard ruler measurements
- The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- English language verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities
- The ability to multi-task and work efficiently with team members
