Job Summary
The Coater Operator is responsible for the preparation and operation of coating machine lines, ensuring adherence to quality specifications and maintaining accurate records. This role requires excellent color vision and includes setting up the coating machine for material runs, inspecting sheets for proper coverage and potential contaminants, and adjusting line speed and oven temperatures to specified standards. The operator must also perform routine maintenance, assist with initial load inspections, and maintain a clean and safe work environment. A high school education or equivalent and at least one year of related experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year high school or GED equivalency
- Minimum one (1) year vocational school or experience in a related field
- Excellent color vision and aptitude in color discrimination
