Coater Operator- 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Set up and operate coating machinery, adjusting rollers and micrometer settings to maintain proper flow and temperature control. Change coater rollers, oil and grease equipment, and clean machines while checking viscosity every half-hour using Ford cups. Inspect tin plate specifications, verify production counts, and perform visual defect checks on at least two sheets per load. Coordinate stacker activities, prepare load tickets, and operate bundle turners when needed. Relieve adjacent operators for breaks and sort or stack plate as required. Available for 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays, with on-call rotation and ability to stand for 8-12 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment efficiently
- Must be able to use scale and margin guides
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understand plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training
- Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions
- Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
- Ability to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift
- Frequently lift 35 pounds or more
- Stand on feet long periods of time
- Walk often
