Job Summary
Head High School Boys Wrestling coach responsible for setting practice and competition schedules, coaching participants to achieve high-level skill and sportsmanship, assigning managers and duties, overseeing safety of facilities, maintaining statistics and records, enforcing discipline, staying current on coaching techniques and competition rules, coordinating travel for away games, overseeing equipment and supplies, and developing communication procedures with school leadership and the public. Requires valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate, coaching experience, CPR certification, and Athletic Care & Prevention Certification; coaching theory coursework preferred; CDL Safety Education Certification; 10-month exempt employment terms.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
- Experience in Coaching
- Current CPR Certification
- Current Athletic Care & Prevention Certification
- CDL Safety Education Certification
- Courses in Coaching Theory Preferred
