Job Summary
Consult with the athletic director and school principal to set practice and competition schedules, then systematically disseminate participation rules to players and parents. Coach individual participants in sport-specific skills while assigning managers and overseeing safety conditions during all student presence. Arrive first and leave last for practices and games, maintaining accurate season statistics and enforcing discipline with established penalties. Adhere to injury prevention protocols, promptly notify the director of incidents, and supervise equipment, facilities, and locker rooms. Coordinate off-season training, travel, and equipment purchases while developing positive public communications procedures for parents and the media.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Teaching Certificate
- Experience in Coaching
- Current CPR Certification
- Current Athletic Care & Prevention Certification
- Ability to administer CPR
- Stand for extended periods

- reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally
- lift/move up to 50 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Courses in Coaching Theory Preferred
- CDL Safety Education Certification
