Job Summary
Plan and deliver weekly volleyball training for Grade 8 students from Monday to Thursday after school, attending all game times and tournaments. Act as primary supervisor during practices and competitions while providing mentorship, technical training, and support to foster student leadership. Register for competitions, confirm rosters with BC School Sports, and submit required documentation including the Coach Postseason Wrap-Up and Athlete Survey. Maintain open communication with administration and parents, ensure student safety at all times, and uphold the school's mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of experience coaching Volleyball
- Be knowledgeable in the technical, tactical and physical elements of Volleyball
- Demonstrable awareness of the learning styles of girls and young women
- Committed to the standards of professional practice
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Please note that applicants must be able to legally work in Canada
- Employment is conditional upon Crofton House School conducting and receiving a satisfactory criminal record check
