Job Summary
Coach teenagers one-on-one and in small groups to help them discover passions, set goals, and build resilience through side-by-side activities like sports and outdoor adventures. Develop close, emotionally supportive relationships with students to guide their treatment progression while implementing clinical plans outlined by the Treatment Team. Maintain a safe, comfortable environment and use mediation techniques to redirect students during escalated moments. Transport students to off-campus appointments using company vehicles, requiring a valid driver's license and clean driving record. Work flexible shifts including Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and a rotating Sunday duty every four weeks. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 20 years of age or older to apply
- Physical ability to provide interventions, such as safety holds
- A valid Driver's License, and no more than one traffic violation on a driving record in the past three years to be approved to transport students using company vehicles
- Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents
- Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity and mental health
- Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Engaging and empathetic character, with a balance of tenacity and determination
- Good problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- All new hires are required to successfully complete a background check, which may include verification of employment history, education, and criminal records
Desired Qualifications
- Some shifts may not be available at the time on interviewing, however, you will have opportunities to switch to a desirable schedule as they open
