Job Summary
Plan, direct, and supervise all phases of the total Soccer Program for the Junior Varsity Girls team in accordance with MIAA, Tri-Valley League, and School policies. Oversee the physiological and skill development of student-athletes while developing each participant to maximum potential through skill, learning, and improvement. Assume responsibility for organizing, coaching, and administering the program, including enforcing disciplined behavior, managing equipment inventory, and ensuring safety conditions of facilities and locker rooms. Provide input and guidance to the Head Coach and drive students to/from events when 14 or fewer athletes are traveling.
Required Qualifications
- Dedication to the School, to the Student-Athlete and to the Athletic Program
- Comprehensive knowledge of the sport and the ability to demonstrate and teach individual skills
- Ability to motivate the student-athlete to maximum potential
- Professional in appearance and actions
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Soccer Coach preferred
- Certification CPR, First Aid or the equivalent preferred
- Employment as a member of the teaching staff preferred
