Job Summary
Lead the Boys' Junior Varsity Soccer program by planning and leading all practices, games, and team activities while teaching fundamentals, strategy, and sportsmanship. Mentor student-athletes to prepare them for varsity success, fostering their academic, athletic, social, and personal development. Uphold the school's Catholic mission and values, communicating effectively with athletes, parents, and staff while maintaining safe environments. Manage equipment and inventories, complete game reports, and attend Athletic Department meetings in compliance with SJND, CIF, and NCS policies. This seasonal stipend position is appointed annually by the Athletic Director, reporting to the Varsity Head Coach.
Required Qualifications
- Previous soccer coaching experience preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of soccer techniques, rules, and player development
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Completion of required SJND, CIF, and NCS coaching certifications
- Ability to pass required background screening
