Job Summary
Part-time Coach at Camden Case Management in Sacramento, CA, supporting clients in overcoming challenges related to mental health, addiction recovery, and life-skills reintegration. Role involves weekly face-to-face sessions in clients’ environments (home, community, or public spaces), designing individualized strategies, conducting home visits, assisting with medication counts and adherence, administering toxicology screens if required, engaging in recovery-related activities, providing phone support outside sessions, and maintaining ongoing communication with clinical teams. Requires driving and a valid license, with hours fluctuating based on client demand; support from a team including two LMFTs and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a specialized area of Mental Health (e.g., Autism, addiction, OCD)
- Relevant certifications or qualifications specific to coaching specialty
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to transport clients if/when needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt coaching style to meet diverse client needs
- Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or working directly with individuals or groups
