Job Summary
Plan, organize, and deliver volleyball skills, tactics, techniques, and drills to student athletes while managing practice and game schedules. Act as a mentor and guide to build trust, ensuring safety measures are observed during all events. Drive the activity bus to transport athletes to and from away games, traveling with the team to practices, competitions, and tournaments. Arrive on time for all scheduled athletic events and attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. Report to the Athletic Director to help student athletes realize their potential through instruction and encouragement.
Required Qualifications
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution preferred
- Continued education in specific sport
- Coaching experience in volleyball with relevant age group
- Possess adequate knowledge to effectively coach
- Have strong oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the Post Oak Community
- CPR/AED Certification preferred
