Job Summary
Orangetheory Fitness Coach leads high-energy group workouts for up to 36 participants using Orangetheory’s science-backed method blending cardio, strength, and power. You’ll deliver dynamic sessions, provide real-time exercise corrections and modifications to ensure safety, maintain the studio, help boost class attendance and member retention through motivation and personal connection, represent Orangetheory at internal and external marketing events, and stay current with programming through required monthly team meetings, webinars, and continuing education opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current nationally accredited fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, AFAA, NFPT, NPTI, etc.) – Required
- Current CPR/AED Certification – Required
- 1+ years of experience in personal training and/or group fitness instruction – Preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and functional movement
- Ability to lead, motivate, and adapt training to all fitness levels in real time
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field – Preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be physically capable of demonstrating all exercises and lifting up to 40 lbs
