Job Summary
Coach of Specialized Instruction acts as an instructional leader to support the professional growth and development of special education staff and general education teachers. The role promotes high-quality, evidence-based instructional and behavioral practices to improve outcomes for students with disabilities, collaborates with the Principal and Special Education leadership, provides ongoing coaching and professional development, coaches on district curriculum and IEPs, ensures compliance with DESE regulations, supports IEP and SST meetings, and helps design and implement lesson plans aligned to student IEP goals. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with Massachusetts DESE licensure in Moderate Disabilities (PreK–8); Master’s Degree preferred; experience with data-informed instruction, ABA and inclusive practices, Frontline/eSped systems, and strong collaboration and communication skills.
