Job Summary
Coordinate, organize, and promote Nova Classical Academy's middle school volleyball program (grades 6-8) for the 2026-27 season. Responsibilities include student supervision and behavior management in practices and events, planning and implementing fundamentals, strategies, rules, conditioning, safety procedures, injury handling, and ensuring First Aid readiness. Communicate policies and program guidelines to participants, staff, students, and parents; manage equipment and facilities; supervise coaching staff; and support the school’s athletic department while adhering to school procedures and seasonal timelines. The role emphasizes effective leadership, safety, sportsmanship, and alignment with the academy’s classical education tradition across practices and games.
Required Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the sport
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with regard to student and other information as required by FERPA
- Current Adult/Pediatric First Aid with CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
