Job Summary
Plan and conduct regular practices focusing on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship while instructing student-athletes in sport fundamentals. Manage administrative tasks including submitting rosters, waivers, and health records to meet MIAA and school deadlines, and schedule non-conference competitions with transportation logistics. Maintain equipment inventory, ensure a safe practice environment, and monitor athlete well-being to communicate concerns to administrators. This seasonal role runs from December 2025 to February 2026 with a $1,500 stipend, requiring CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of the sport
- Experience leading and organizing a team
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification
- Completion of annual Youth Sports Concussion Training Certification
- Successful completion of the MIAA Coaches Education Course
Desired Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience at the middle school or high school level
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, and school staff
