Job Summary
Provide one-on-one financial coaching focused on budgeting, credit building, debt reduction, and savings strategies for participants in Grow & Climb and Achieve programs. Build relationships with families, facilitate financial education workshops, and recruit new participants through community outreach and presentations. Maintain accurate, confidential participant records and collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure comprehensive support. Deliver case management and resource navigation using strengths-based coaching techniques to help individuals set goals, increase income, and improve credit scores.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Creole
- Reliable transportation
- Bachelor's degree in Social Services, Human Services, Business, Finance, Education, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a minimum of 5 years of progressive professional experience in a related field may be substituted. We are also eager to hire fresh graduates who demonstrate a true passion for serving the community and a strong willingness to learn.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with low- to moderate-income individuals and families
- Certification or experience in financial coaching, financial education, credit counseling, tax preparation, or related disciplines
- Passion for helping individuals and families achieve financial stability and long-term success
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to motivate, encourage, and empower participants from diverse backgrounds
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management, and documentation skills
