Job Summary
Develop close, personal relationships with adolescents to coach them in their treatment progression and implement clinical treatment plans. Maintain a safe, comfortable environment while participating in activities like sports and hiking to build student skills. Use mediation and intervention techniques to redirect students during escalated moments and transport them to off-campus appointments using company vehicles. Work flexible Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts including a quarterly Sunday rotation. Candidates must demonstrate assertiveness regarding neurodiversity, proficiency in English, and the physical ability to provide safety holds.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 20 years of age or older to apply
- Physical ability to provide interventions, such as safety holds
- A valid Driver's License, and no more than one traffic violation on a driving record in the past three years to be approved to transport students using company vehicles
- Proficiency and fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing English
- Demonstrated ability to successfully coach and mentor adolescents
- Assertiveness to learn and continually enhance knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity and mental health
- Good energy and ability to work in all weather conditions
- Engaging and empathetic character, with a balance of tenacity and determination
- Good problem-solving, decisiveness, and teamwork skills
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Must be able to transport the students to and from off-campus appointments and activities using company vehicles
