Job Summary
Head Coach for cross country at Spencer Middle School. Responsibilities include organizing and scheduling practice sessions, teaching fundamental and advanced athletic skills, supervising participants and coaching staff, managing budgets and inventory, coordinating transportation, ensuring parental permission and insurance documentation, handling injuries prudently, and complying with WVSSAC and Roane County policies. The role also involves maintaining equipment integrity, enforcing discipline and safe conduct, communicating effectively with staff, parents, and students, and developing professional growth with the coaching staff.
