Job Summary
As a part-time Coach Counselor, you will provide in-person safety and security for at-risk male youth in a max security residential program. Responsibilities include addressing physical, personal, and health needs of youth through mentoring and skills development, monitoring and documenting behaviors and activities, and assisting with educational and recreational activities. Training is provided, and candidates should be punctual, motivated, and structured. Previous experience in similar facilities or military training may be considered for higher starting pay.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug test
- Pass a physical test
- Pass a TB test
- Have a valid Driver's License
Additional Requirements
- Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver
