Job Summary
Coordinate and manage the College and Career Pathways program at Oakland Unified School District, developing, coordinating and sustaining college and career pathways initiatives, including a comprehensive program of business and community internships and work experiences; act as pathway liaison with business/community partners and post-secondary institutions; develop pathway coaching plans aligned to the Linked Learning model; oversee 9th grade academy recruitment and outreach; facilitate professional development and collaboration among site administrators, teachers, and district staff; support completion of pathway action plans, calendars of events, and budgets; lead joint activities with academies, scheduling teams, and external partners to ensure students are college, career, and community ready.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- 3 years of College and Career Pathways or Small Learning Community teaching experience in any subject
- Experience as a classroom teacher required
- Valid California Driver’s License
- Employment eligibility will include fingerprints, tuberculosis and/or other employment clearance
